BAGHDAD ON FIRE Wins Prize at FIFDH Geneva
Congratulations to director Karrar Al-Azzawi and producer Jørgen Lorentzen on being awarded €10,000 at FIFDH Genève, thanks to IMS International Media Support, for their project Baghdad on Fire.
Their projects will also receive an additional €10,000 in matching funds thanks to The Storyboard Collective.
BAGHDAD ON FIRE participated in Close Up in 2020 / 2021. The film follows a young woman taking part in the democracy movement in Iraq.
Congratulations, Karrar and Jørgen! You’re one step further to completing and releasing a film that will have a great impact on communities in Iraq and around the world.
