Greetings from Amsterdam! ✨✨ We are very happy to share with you that we had a Close Up alumni gathering in Amsterdam earlier in November! 

It was wonderful to see so many of our filmmakers in-person and meet together as Close Up family. Our filmmakers from all 4 years of Close Up annual programs had the chance to meet each other and we were very happy that our founding partners and mentors Bruni Burres and John Appel were with us at this wonderful occasion!

15 Close Up filmmakers were invited to attend and participate at the prestigious IDFA Festival in different programs. Our filmmakers pitched and presented their projects as part of the Producers Connection and participated at IDFAcademy. They had one-on-one meetings with potential financiers and leading professionals in the documentary industry.

Every year, with our new cohort of filmmakers, the Close Up family is getting bigger and bigger and it was wonderful to meet with so many of our filmmakers at the vibrant city of Amsterdam!
