Close Up is looking for an intern!
We are looking for an intern to join our small but mighty team for a period of several months. Close Up is a documentary training, development, and mentorship program for filmmakers from the Middle East and North Africa.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• assist the executive director in researching and applying to grants and funds
• conduct research on peer organizations, donors, and/or foundations
• assist with social media
• create promotional and fundraising materials
• assist with special projects and collaboration
• assist with the distribution of the 2022 / 2023 call for applications
DETAILS
There is flexibility on start/end dates as well as working hours. All work is remote.
REQUIREMENTS
• strong organizational skills
• English at a native level
• comfortable learning about and interest in the world of philanthropy, fundraising, and development
• and first and foremost, a passion for documentary film and cultural exchange!
