Our podcast is centered around the notion of cultural legacy is one of the most important possessions each of us carry. It is an essential part of our individual and collective identity. Listen to filmmakers as they explore their cultural and historical identity and what it means to be an artist today.
In our first episode, we feature a conversation between filmmakers Jude Chehab and Rüzgâr Buşki who participated in the Close Up program between 2020-2021. They discuss various aspects of documentary filmmaking, defining oneself in one’s given circumstances, and navigating the international industry while challenging its status quos.
