● Won the Al Jazeera Balkans Award at ZagrebDox Pro in June, which comes with €1,000 for further development. The jury mentioned: “Through archival family footage, narrativized with contemporary images and conversations with their mother, the two filmmakers, a sister and her young brother, will portray the family’s evolution over the course of 40 years in Iran. Their journey will not only reveal a unique directorial approach, but will also offer us an opportunity to hear the voices of the current generation.”
● Selected to Docs By The Sea Accelerator 2021 Editing Lab and granted three free Rough Cut Service sessions in July
● Won the Excellent Project cash award at DMZ Industry in September
